Who are we?We are a secondary school in the city of Kempten in the very southern part of Germany. Kempten is very close to the Alpes and within an hour drive to Munich and the lake Constance.We are a state-funded secondary school and our student body of around 800 students between the ages of 10 and 16 is partly from this region and partly from an ethnically diverse background. Our students come from a variety of different cultures and countries, such as Turkey, Italy, Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, Poland and more. Our educational focus lies on Maths and German, as well as Englisch and French as a second language. We have special art classes and classes where we teach business studies. Moreover, the teaching of vocational skills in preparation for the work environment is a key concern of our school. Our 70 motivated teachers also put great emphasis on extracurricular activities to further environmental projects, cultural exchange, sports and personal skills.What you can expect from spending time in Kempten?- We would like to show you our beautiful mountain region, e. g. you are very welcome to go on hikes with us and get to know our traditional Bavarian/German culture- Kempten is a very cozy town (70,000 inhabitants) in the South of Bavaria- Nice hotels and youth hostel are available close to the city centre in walking distance- Our public transport offers you an easy way around Kempten and the region with train connections to Munich, Lake Constanze, Castle Neuschwanstein or just to the mountains and lakes of the Alpine region
