The "Jodocus Nünning GS" or JNG for short, is a so called "Gesamtschule" catering to grades 5 thru 13 for a wide variety of talented kids. At the moment we have 1400+ students with almost 150 teachers, incl. pedagogical staff. Our school has the three main focusses: health, sports and internationality.Over the course of the last couple of years we have established language and exchange programs with schools in the Netherlands, France, Spain and South Korea. On the latter, we have recently established a school partnership with a private boarding school 2 hrs South of Seoul, South Korea (where 50 % of teachers are from the US). Last summer, we were happy enough to travel to South Korea where we enjoyed an amazing time. Also, we welcomed a group of Korean students in Borken a couple weeks later.We are in West Germany, close to the Dutch border in the middle of the beautiful Münsterland.

Wünsche hinsichtlich Partnerschule: We have a vision for a project that is supposed to start digitally and should eventually lead to an exchange in the year 2026. It is supposed to address students of the ages 16 to 17 (in that year).We are looking at this particular year because we will then have an international youth soccer tournament near Borken the last weekend of May. On these beautiful days, we regularly welcome teams from different European countries (incl. Ireland, Norway, Poland etc) aswell as one team from Namibia. Therefore we would love to invite an American students group in May/June 2026. I am sure there would also be a chance for an earlier visit, however :-)In return we would love to travel to the US in June/July - in time for the FIFA World Cup
