Mazama High School is located in Klamath Falls, a high desert region of Southern Oregon, close to the California border. The school has approximately 750 students and 30 teachers. A typical American high school, we offer something for everyone, including: German, Spanish, art, construction, business, theater, choir, band, auto technology, and the core subjects of science, math, social studies, and English. The school has been open since 1966 and is one of several other high schools in the area. We have no partner programs at this time.Klamath Falls has about 40,000 inhabitants, and offers many outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, rafting, skiing, and ice skating. We are close to Crater Lake, the deepest Lake in North America and a National Park, as well as the Lava Beds, which are Native American caves and site of the Modoc Indian War. There are several museums and a theater, which provides musical and theatrical performances. There are many farms and ranches surrounding Klamath Falls, as well as mountains.
