Stephen Hawking School (SHS) in Neckargemünd (6 miles from Heidelberg) is a state-recognized private school for physically handicapped and non-handicapped children and young people. Das Eduard-Mörike-Gymnasium ist ein allgemeinbildendes Gymnasium in Neuenstadt am Kocher. Unser idyllisches Neuenstadt liegt zwischen Würzburg und Stuttgart. Neben Englisch (1. Fremdsprache) und Französisch/Latein( 2. Fremdsprache), können unsere Schüler*innen ab der 8. Klasse auch Italienisch als dritte Fremdsprache lernen. Traditionell findet unser Italien-Austausch in der 10. Klasse statt. Unsere Schüler*innen sind in der Regel 15/16 Jahre alt. An dieser Tradition möchten wir gern festhalten. Im aktuellen Schuljahren lernen etwa 500 Schüler*innen gemeinsam mit circa 50 Lehrer*innen an unserer Schule. Our school is a grammar school in the middle of Germany near the Harz mountains consisting of around 650 students aged 10 to 18. We have around 50 teacher colleagues and are looking forward to enrich our school with an English speaking partnerhip with another school. We have already connections to Poland and the Republic of Czech, France and Spain, but we definetely need another one in an English speaking country. Our students would be so happy to improve their social skills and language activities by getting to know friends from another country.
