Hello and welcome to our school! We're delighted that you're considering OBS Mittelweser for your exchange program. Our school is located in Stolzenau, a charming town in northern Lower Saxony known for its beautiful landscapes and rich history, especially its proximity to waterways like the Weser River and nearby lakes. These natural surroundings provide a relaxing environment for our students to enjoy and explore. Stolzenau's historical landmarks offer excellent educational opportunities, and our school regularly organizes visits to nearby sites as well as those farther away. We believe in hands-on learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.Recently designated as an "Oberschule," OBS Mittelweser is experiencing growth. Currently, we have 405 students and 40 teachers. Our school day ends at 1:25 pm, allowing students to participate in various after-school programs. One such program is the "USA-Programm," where students learn about American history, culture, and politics, preparing them for potential exchange programs.
