With its population of about 52,000 residents, Lingen is a small town located in a rural area in the north-west of Germany close to the Dutch border.Our school BBS Lingen Wirtschaft offers a large variety of courses, e.g. part-time vocational school, a specialised upper secondary school, or a specialised grammar school ("Gymnasium"). Apart from general education subjects, our students also study business and management related subjects. Learning English is compulsory in most courses. The students of our specialised grammar school also study Spanish or Dutch.We would like to find a partner school in Europe (preferably in the UK, Scandinavia, the Baltic States or Spain) to organize a student exchange on a regular basis. Also, if there is interest in doing an online project together that would be welcomed. We believe that international learning is essential in today´s world, and thus we would like our students to benefit from such an experience.
