Hanns-Seidel-Gymnasium is a secondary school situated amidst the romantic landscape of the Spessart Forest and still only half an hour’s drive from the metropolitan region of Frankfurt/Main. Our school was founded in 1973 and is currently attended by 1250 students aged 10-19. We are committed to high educational and academic standards and aim at meeting all our students’ needs and help them discover their full potential, both individually and as a cooperative team. All our students learn English as a first foreign language, beginning with 5th grade. Apart from English, our students can choose Latin or French as a second foreign language in 6th grade and also have the option of learning Spanish beginning in 10th grade. School partnership programmes have always been highly regarded at Hanns-Seidel-Gymnasium, although, due to the pandemic, exchanges with our current partner schools in Hudson/Wisconsin (USA), Saint Germain (France), Cavalese (Italy) and Mkinga (Tansania) have been reduced to online interactions. Owing to the unabated interest that our students show in intercultural learning, we would be happy to add a school from another English-speaking country to our parnership programme.
