The Heinz-Nixdorf comprehensive school is located in a small town called Paderborn, which is the second largest city in the east of the Westphalia-Lippe region in Germany. Our school has approximately 800 students and 70 teachers. Moreover, we offer regular classes as well as a variety of distinctive and awarded projects, e.g. theatre, music, arts, "Say no to racism", natural sciences and sports. Our students can acquire languages like English, French and Spanish and join certain clubs like newspaper, soccer, Greek, HipHop, cooking, professional painting, and many more. As we are already experienced in exchange projects within Europe (for example Poland and France), we would love to broaden our mind and be open for new experiences in the USA and other countries apart from Europe. Our region offers a wide range of cultural highlights provided for leisure and sport activities, natural settings for hiking and cycle tours and many sights to take a closer look at: Cathedral of Paderborn, Heinz Nixdorf Museums Forum (biggest computer museum in the world), University of Paderborn, the famous Libori festival weekNearby: Wewelsburg castle (former concentration camp), Herrmann Monument and Externsteine One-hour drive to Dortmund, two-hours from Cologne!
