Stadtteilschule am Hafen is a secondary school located in the district of Altona in Hamburg. More than 930 students are being taught by around 120 teachers or other professional staff. We put a focus on social learning, developing social skills by knowing own strengths and being an active and valuable part of the school community and the neighborhood. At our school we encourage students to participate in various sports competitions within the school community and beyond. Sports can be a way of interacting with people of different origin overcoming barriers of language or of social background. This is why we set a special value on sports at our school. We currently don’t have any exchange program yet, so we are looking forward to establish any kind of partnership with other schools to provide our students with the ability to engage with students around the world.
