Our schools, a German "Gymnasium" and a "Realschule" are situated in the "Heart of Bavaria" in Altötting. This town is a place of pilgrimage with a long tradition. Our schools have been founded by the Sisters of Mary Ward 300 years ago. We have had a GAPP partnership for over 47 years but because of dwindling numbers of American students who want to travel, we would like to give our motivated students from both schools the opportunity of a 2-3 week family stay with the possibility of a High School visit. American students are welcome to stay at our schools as well (preferred in early summer, when school is out in the US). As Munich and Salzburg and other sights near the Alps are only an hour's drive away, we can offer great field trips and besides that we hope that our English language department is able to offer genuine American English as your students talk to ours in the classroom.If you are interested, you find our website on: https://mwg-altoetting.de/
