We are a medium sized school in Germany near the city of Aachen. We are currently looking for a school with which we would like to start a partnership. An exchange programme from students aged 14 (in Europe) or older (overseas) would be included should you decide to partner with us. Our school offers bilingual classes in geography, biology and social studies in English. We are located in Erkelenz, a large town with a population of about 60 thousand people in an agricultural area within commuting distance to the urban centres of Düsseldorf, Cologne, Aachen. It is an area with a rich cultural history as well as being a significant contributor to current research and development in the tech sector. We can offer interesting trips to nearby cities such as Maastricht in the Netherlands, Bonn, Cologne or Aachen. There are about 600 students and 60 teachers in our school. Spoken languages include: German, English, French, Italian and Dutch, Latin is also taught.
