In our efforts to promote our students’ interest in everything “STEM”, we are looking for a school in an English-speaking country (preferably the US, the UK, Ireland) to create a partnership program.We’d love to initiate and conduct STEM projects in which groups of students (Sophomore or Juniors; i.e. age ~15 +) from each school work collaboratively with one another, ie. exchange ideas, solve problems together, create a final product that then eventually can be presented to the community.Thus, ultimately, the groups of about 10-15 students each would come visit each other and present their project as a whole.This would give students the opportunity to present their work results in a meaningful way, thereby hopefully inspiring yet other students to participate in future STEM projects while allowing participants to get to know each other as well as different cultures while growing academically, personally and emotionally.The stay could also be embellished with visits to STEM companies in the region, universities, sight-seeing tours etc.Among the numerous things that we as a school can contribute to the success of such an endeavor, the following certainly factor in as rather noteworthy:• extraordinarily motivated and gifted students, most of whom have had several years of bilingual education• partnerships with two Universities for Applied Sciences which could be asked to support individual projects • located in Stuttgart West, our school’s location is right at the heart of one of Germany’s most vibrant STEM hubs, with big players like Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Stihl, Festo, Kärcher, Porsche, Mahle, Trumpf, Fanuc and many more right around the corner.If this does strike a chord with you and your school’s endeavors to promote STEM education (maybe even paired with German as a Foreign language programs), then please get in touch with us so that we can talk things through in more detail, plan for an enriching experience for our students and fill this partnership with life.We’re looking forward to hearing from you.Best regards and hope to talk to you soon.
