The Hertzhaimer Gymnasium, a secondary school, is located in Trostberg/Upper Bavaria (southern Germany) in the beautiful Chiemgau region, close to Lake Chiemsee and the foothills of the Bavarian Alps.Salzburg (Austria) und Munich (third largest city in Germany) can be reached in less than an hour by bus/train.The school has about 600 students in years 5-12. Foreign languages taught in our school are English (year 5+), French/Latin (6+) and Spanish (10+).Students can choose between three different schedules with emphasis on modern languages, natural sciences or social studies.The Hertzhaimer-Gymnasium has partner schools in France, Poland and Menorca/Spain, and in order to establish an annual student exchange program in year 11, we are looking for a partner school in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
