We are a secondary/ grammar school in Nuremberg, Bavaria, with a special focus on music and arts. The 700 students and 100 teachers love their Harry Potter style school building and the positive atmosphere at our school. We teach English, Latin and Spanish at our school, and place value on politics, social studies and sustainability. Our school is located in the heart of Nuremberg, a Franconian city that played an important role during the time of National Socialism, but is also known for the artist A. Dürer, its castle, the Christmasmarket etc. A lot of Nature, the UNESCO city of Bamberg and other attractions are nearby, so a visit can include lots of cultural and historical experiences.We already have partner schools in Finland and Italy, and are looking for an additional, European school (near Germany, so that it can be reached by train because of environmental reasons;-)) for our 14-15-year-olds, for a lasting partnership. We understand it as a cultural experience, which makes it possible for our students to make friends within Europe and experience English as a lingua franca.
