FES Heidenheim
Staat: Deutschland
Stadt: Heidenheim

FES Heidenheim is a private Christian school located in the Swabian Alps. The school houses two types of secondary schools, a realschule and a gymnasium and has about 25 teachers and 230 students. While our teachers are Christians, we are very open to and have students of all kinds of faith backgrounds. We are also very open to partnering with a Christian or a secular school. Next to our aim to teach lasting values to our students, our school also has a strong focus on music. Heidenheim is a medium-sized town (~50.000) about one hour east of Stuttgart and half an hour north of Ulm. There are many historic sights in the region as Heidenheim's history dates back to Roman times. Most famous of all is the medieval Hellenstein Castle which towers over the old town. You can find further information about the school on our website: http://www.fes-heidenheim.deWe look forward to hearing from you!

Wünsche hinsichtlich Partnerschule:  We aim to set up an short-term exchange program (about 3 weeks) for our grade 10 gymnasium students. The main idea of the exchange is that our students get to know people from a different country, experience a another culture and improve their English. It would also be great, if the trip motivated them to take part in a longer exchange program. We aim to bring 10 – 20 students and would in turn host a similar number of students here. The students from our partner school could visit and participate in our school here in Heidenheim, live in host families and, if they learn German, improve it. Our prefered time to visit the partner school would be September, but other months also work for us.
