CMR is a high school in the Great Falls Public Schools system with just over 1200 students in grades 9 -12. There are currently about 80 students enrolled in German classes at the school. We are seeking a school or schools in the German speaking parts of Europe for an active, long-term exchange. The school was built in 1965 as the second high school in Great Falls, Montana, and was named after Montana's most famous western artist, Charles Marion Russell. Great Falls is split in two by the Missouri River and is surrounded by mountainous areas: the Big Belt Mountains to the south, the Highwood Mountains to the east, and the Rocky Mountain Front to the West. There are many opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts: fishing, hiking, exploring, camping, photography, etc. Glacier National Park is a doable day trip from Great Falls.
