Our school is located right in the city centre of Braunschweig (largest city between Berlin and Hanover, therefore, offers a lot of opportunities in terms of culture, sports, education and free time activities in general; www.braunschweig.de).About 1000 students are currently enrolled in our school which was founded in 1415, making it one of the oldest schools in Germany (www.mk-braunschweig.de). Following our school's motto (Virtue-Humanity-Respect), about 80 teachers provide many different opportunities for our students to develop a diverse set of skills to become open-minded, scrutinising young adults. For this, we put huge emphasis on sports (volleyball, indoor/field hockey), languages (English, French, Latin, Spanish), music (choir, big band).Until 2018 we had an exchange with a high school near Portland. Unfortunately they had to cancel the exchange. Therefore, we're currently search for a new partnership. We'd like to visit every other year for about 2 weeks in September/October, starting in 2020, with about 15-20 students. Of course we'd be happy to host the same amount of students! Depending on our holidays, we can adjust the date for your visit accordingly to your needs! As we'd like to travel to do some sightseeing after our two week stay, it'd be nice to have a larger city somewhere nearby. As the responsible coordinator, Mr.Schulz-Klingner is happy to answer all your questions (firstname.lastname@example.org).
