Gymnasium Wendalinum (http://www.gymnasium-wendalinum.de/?to=62&open=4) has a student body of about 750 students from grade 5 up to grade 12. All students take English courses. Other subjects are German, French, Latin, Italian, Spanish, Maths, Natural Sciences, Arts, PE, and more. St. Wendel (http://www.sankt-wendel.de/en/st-wendel-neu/circuit/ ) is located in southwest Germany, about two hours from Frankfurt and close to the border to France. Cities like Freiburg or Heidelberg as well as French cities like Strasbourg or Metz are easy to reach by bus or train. There is also a good train connection to Paris (2.5 hours by train). St. Wendel offers lots of sports facilities (swimming, climbing, golf, biking and hiking trails) and has a good infrastructure. Gymnasium Wendalinum participates in the Comenius project with student exchanges in Italy, Ireland, Finland and France. We used to have a student exchange (GAPP) with an American High School that ended last year, so we are looking for a new partner school in the United States. We would like to establish a regular exchange with both visits taking place on an every other year basis. Please contact me (Michael Schu) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
