Welcome to Gymnasium Neuhaus! We are a German high school in the heart of the Thuringian Forest with about 500 students. Tolerance and appreciation are in the focus of daily interaction at our school. Our high school offers a wide range of activities for students in the areas of sports, languages, art and science. Participation in competitions and involvement in extracurricular activities and social projects, such as the peer mediator project, are integrated into everyday school life. Gymnasium Neuhaus is a certified “Digital School” and has modern technical equipment. Working in tablet classes is part of everyday life for us. Our school has a long history offering international exchange experiences, such as the Comenius project and the GAPP program. Unfortunately, those partnerships aren't currently running anymore so we are interested in new personal as well as digital partnerships and encounters, which can be carried out, for example, within the framework of Erasmus-Plus within Europe or the GAPP program with schools in the USA. We are looking forward to hearing from you! Due to the current situation, starting with virtual partnerships would also be an option for us.
