We are a school of about 450 students grades 5-12. We are located in the Niederrhein area close to Dusseldorf/Cologne and the Netherlands: Less than an-hour-drive. We have an abundant amount of students who have the wish to travel to America and get to know the American way of life, thus to participate in a partnership. We have a tradition of 30 years which unfortunately had to end two years ago because my partner retired and now I'm looking for a new partnership by spending time with American host families.Our students who want to participate at the school exchange are chosen by specific characteristics. Most of them have got a fair mastery of the English language, which adds to my impression that an exchange would give them the opportunity to further develop their abilities and skills. In return, I am sure that with their personal qualities and characteristics they would also be an enrichment for any receiving institution.
