Karl-Schiller-Berufskolleg Dortmund / vocational college / colegio de formación profesional : www.ksbk-do.de Das Karl-Schiller-Berufskolleg hat ca. 3000 SchülerInnen und 120 LehrerInnen. Es liegt im Zentrum von Dortmund, ist modern ausgestattet und gut angebunden (Bus, Bahn, U-Bahn). In Dortmund und Umgebung gibt es viele interessante kulturelle Angebote (Konzerthaus, Theater, Sportveranstaltungen etc.). In unserem Berufskolleg (Fachrichtung Wirtschaft) wird neben Englisch Spanisch als neu einsetzende Fremdsprache in der Höheren Handelsschule (Höhere Berufsfachschule/Fachhochschulreife) und im Wirtschaftsgymnasium (Allgemeine Hochschulreife) unterrichtet (Klasse 11,12 und im Gymnasium auch Klasse 13); die SchülerInnen sind 16-20 Jahre alt. Englisch wird außerdem im Bereich „Berufsschule“ unterrichtet (Alter der SchülerInnen 19-23 Jahre). Viele SchülerInnen haben einen multikulturellen Hintergrund, sprechen also auch weitere Sprachen.Wir suchen Partnerschulen im europäischen Raum, die mit uns auf Deutsch/Englisch/Spanisch kommunizieren möchten.

Requests concerning your future partner school: Hello everybody,We are looking for a partnership with a school from Spain and/or an English-speaking European country to develop a student exchange with a group of 15-20 pupils doing their vocational diploma and A-Levels, both aged 16-19, but possibly also from our other departments such dual education and training courses, aged 19-23.The partnership might start with an online project, leading to an in-person exchange.The basic "practical" goal of this project would be to practice foreign languages while working on different "every-day" topics that students are really interested in, and which are really relevant for them and their lives.
