The Jungmannschule is a Gymnasium in the town of Eckernförde and for its large, rural surroundings. Eckernförde has 22,000 inhabitants and lies next to the Baltic Sea. Kiel is the nearest larger city; Hamburg is about 1.5 hours away. Currently 770 pupils attend the Jungmannschule. There are 72 teachers working at our school. A wide range of extracurricular activities enriches school life. The Jungmannschule is a "European School", which means that we bring the European idea into the classroom through various activities. For example, we have student exchanges with France and Poland, participate in eTwinning projects and the EYP. We also have experience with KA1 projects.
