St. Mary's Girls' vocational school-Mbarara is a christian founded school in 2005 to avail cheap secondary education to e less disadvantaged girls from poor families in a purely christian environment. The schools offers both lower and upper secondary school education with subjects like English, Maths, Geography, History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Christian Religious education, Computer studies, Kiswahili, Entrepreneurship, Economics besides a number of co-curricular activities like football, wood ball, table tennis, volley ball, netball. The school has an enrolment of 650 girls and it is purely a boarding school with a staff of 40 both teaching and non teaching.
