Leibnizschule Offenbach, established in 1884, is a modern secondary Club of Rome and MINT school ranging from grade 5 to grade 13 . Our student body comprises 1,300 students from various cultural backgrounds, 100 part and full-time teachers and trainees. We offer a wide selection of subjects and extra-curricular activities (e.g. Drama club, band/orchestra, rowing club, chess club, media club,...). Our rowing and chess club have won several awards. As a Club of Rome school, we are dedicated to environmental programs and encourage our students to getting involved in diverse social and cultural projects. We have been an active partner of a handicapped school in our city for about 30 years and celebrate this friendship every years in a big social event.Located near Frankfurt am Main (8 km) on the river Main, we have the opportunity to enjoy the cultural offers of Frankfurt and also do outdoor activities in the nearby woods. Moreover, we are only a two-hours-drive away from Cologne, Heidelberg, Kaiserslautern and Würzburg, the perfect destinations for day field trips.Leibnizschule, Offenbach has got a lot to offer and will be happy to show an international group of students a wonderful time here in beautiful Hessen!

Requests concerning your future partner school:  We are looking for a school in an English-speaking country interested in establishing a "virtual" and a real- life exchange with students age 15 to 17 (grade 10 to 11) who want to improve their language and cross-cultural skills (e.g. working on a blog presenting some environmental and socio-cultural issues for the school magazine or school TV) . The GAPP - exchange may take place every or every second year.We are also eager to find schools interested in establishing some email-contact for younger students (age 13-15) to give them the possibility to make new friends worldwide using English and German. Let's explore our worlds!
